I was beautifully reminded of God's love for us tonight in looking at the life of a young lady I know. In the midst of some very deep heartache, when she could very easily turn inward and has every "right" to be upset, she instead turns to the Lord. Her first thought is "Lord, how can I bring you glory in this?" While I may be her elder age wise, she taught me an incredibly invaluable lesson tonight. God loves us. Yes, that's a lesson I know and have known for years. But God has been opening new facets to that "simple" statement recently. And another one of those facets was portrayed to me tonight. Ah the beauty of a life submitted to Christ! In the midst of my time with the Lord tonight, the following song came up and I don't think I could find a more appropriate song for this "simple" moment being reminded of a "simple" statement.
